The RACPD VLE requires some essential maintenance work which will mean the VLE is out of use on Friday 27 July at 1200 hrs.

The work should take no longer than 3 hours.

PD Promotions - time is nearly up for applications for this year!

The end of the 2017/18 PD Promotions policy period comes to a close on the 31 July, however, the new policy period starts on the 01 August...yeah!

Brenda, Teresa and Kerri from Roberts Barracks Learning Centre held a coffee morning on Wednesday of this week. Personnel from both 32 Regiments and 47 Regiments were invited along to find out what is new in the centre, and from RACPD and of course to have a piece of cake!

Today RACPD is being much healthier than normal and joining in with #OnYourFeetBritain day, which is dedicated to encouraging workers to get moving and less sitting! So far we have had a fresh fruit sale and had teams of walkers walking in 20 - 40 minute slots since 10am! #SitLess #MoveMore Go us!

Full ECDL Advanced achieved!

Congratulations to Bdr Curtis from 1 RHA who is being presented here with his full BCS Level 3 ITQ (ECDL Advanced) certificate by Learning Centre Manager Dave Hone. 

The full qualification is for competent IT users who wish to develop their skills and knowledge to a more advanced level. You are required to complete four units: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and database to achieve the full qualification.

Last week we said farewell to Mark Hammond, Head of Apprenticeships. Mark has been with RACPD for over 6 years, maintaining the 'outstanding' status of the apprenticeship programme during his time with the company. Good luck in your next venture Mark!

New bursary to get veterans into teaching
