a. Protection from abuse and neglect.
b. Promotion of health and development.
c. Ensuring safety and care.
d. Ensuring optimum life chances.

Facts

Safeguarding includes two kinds of work:

  • helping those adults keep themselves safe, to prevent harm happening in the first place
  • responding to concerns about alleged and suspected harm and putting in place plans to help protect those adults that cannot protect themselves.

As our learner we want to make sure that you are safe at all times. If for any reason you do not feel safe, or you know someone who does not feel safe please contact one of the Safeguarding team.
