Army RA CPD Sponsorship Policy

The RA CPD Sponsorship Policy has been in operation since Aug 08.  It is open to all regular Royal Artillery Units who can apply for funds through their RHQ to aid with any adventure training activity that benefits RA soldiers. 

For the purposes of this policy, sponsorship is defined as:
"a contribution in money or ‘in kind' given to a Unit or individual for the purposes of staging an event, providing a service or undertaking an activity which enhances the visibility and reputation of RA CPD, or encourages soldiers to take up personal development ".

We must stress that Sponsorship is not a donation with nothing in return. We ask that promotion in the form of articles, photographs and presentations led by Junior members of the Unit take place.

Army Accreditation Policy

This Policy applies to all regular Army personnel and covers the achievement of qualifications at or above Level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework. It is in place to provide strategic guidance for the management and development of accreditation activities within the Army.

Basic Skills Policy

The Army also has a Basic Skills Policy in place in order to reach its target that all soldiers must achieve Basic Skills at Level 1 before their first three years of service.
