26th Regiment Royal Artillery held a Level 3 Teacher Education and Training course this week. This qualification is great for anyone considering teaching as a career.The next course, open to all, is running in Plymouth from the 12 - 16 February, and is a mixture of online and classroom study.

Following a successful pilot, we have tweaked and refined according to our learner's feedback, and are able to offer this qualification ideally to anyone who has completed BQMS/CQMS, RQMS, QM Course (the minimum requirement is Arty Log Level 4). The SCO is a degree level qualification and is mapped against the Army CQMS/RQMS/QM Course from the Army School of Logistics . It uses the Army course and experience in appointment to enable accreditation and achievement of a high quality logistic qualification.

LBdr's Govender and Ramsami from 47 Regt RA are the next to collect their certificates in Business Administration Level 2 from Programme Manager, Hugh McKinney. Both have completed the qualification with a view to using it when they leave the Army, providing them with an understanding of the basics of running an office.

RACPD has been raising funds for two charities today, firstly by wearing our denim for #jeansforgenes and then holding a cake sale in aid of @macmillancancersupport!
We have raised in excess of £120, so well done us, with more money to come next week! A final figure should be released at the end of next week!

A team from RACPD are walking 100km in 24 hours starting today at 1100 hrs! The walk will take the route of the north of Salisbury Plain culminating in Tidworth. The team are raising funds for the military charity SSAFA, which looks after forces personnel and their families.

What an evening it was! So proud to be part of this amazing evening witnessing our winners collect their prizes in front of an audience of 70 individuals. Major General Neil Marshall OBE presented the awards and was so proud of just how far the Gunners have come in making personal development a priority in their already busy schedules.
