“Thank you for the work you have done for me, without the certificates you helped me get, I would have left the Army with nothing!”
Former MPGS soldier Plymouth

Driver CPC was introduced across the EU to maintain high driving standards and improve road safety. All professional bus, coach and lorry drivers must hold a Driver CPC if they want to drive for a living. Therefore anyone without a Driver CPC licence cannot work as a professional civilian driver - even if you have experience in your military career.

The licence is valid for five years, so to continue driving professionally all you will have to do is complete 35 hours of periodic training (within the 5 year period from the start date) in order to renew your Driver CPC.
