“Very informative and specialised training today, which was excellent, especially on the practical, thank you RACPD!”

About the course

The Level 5 Diploma is a middle management qualification that builds on the SNCO or WO CLM qualification and endorses the extensive management and leadership training and skills you have gained over your military career.

It accredits your accomplishments in a form that is meaningful to civilian employers. The qualification is internationally recognised and because it has been mapped to military training, it provides a fast-track route to a civilian management qualification.

Content

You must attend a two day workshop which will show you how to develop a portfolio that, together with your SNCO CLM experience, will provide evidence for the diploma.

How long is the course?

Two days but learners need to successfully meet all of the assessment criteria so may need to complete additional work after the course.

Cost

£400 and you can use your SLC.

Assessment

The programme has been designed so that you can meet the assessment criteria by completing workbooks during the course – although some prefer to complete them later. You may need to submit additional work after the workshops if your answers do not fully meet the targeted criteria.

Where do I study?

Larkhill. See our search courses by date page for specific dates and locations.

What's next

The BTEC level 5 Diploma provides a progression route to an Honours Degree or to the BTEC Level 7 qualification.

Other details

To take the course you must be minimum rank of Sgt (or service equivalent) and must have completed SNCO CLM Pt3 or EFP2 (or service equivalent).
