About the course
This course is designed for anyone who is considering teaching as a career or for those who are already in an instructing role. The course will give you an overview of teaching in the Education and Training sector and enable you to gain some new ideas/teaching strategies. It is a nationally recognised qualification and the first step towards becoming a qualified teacher. It’s also useful to all managers/instructors as it demonstrates your ability as a trainer.
You will gain an introduction to the qualities and skills required to become a successful teacher/trainer in the Education and Training sector. The course is delivered using a blended learning model. You will be required to complete two online units no later than midday the working day before your first classroom session. The Face-2-Face element involves 4 days intensive study and a 20-minute micro-teach. The diagram below describes the course layout in more detail:

How long is the course?
3 months with one-week classroom.
£300 but only £125 if you use your SLC.

Courses are held at Larkhill and in RA regiments throughout England and in Gutersloh, as well as online content.
